Anthony Rosborough was interviewed by CBC PEI about the Right to Repair and its implications for consumers, independent businesses, innovation, and economic resilience. The discussion considered why increasingly software-dependent products can be difficult for owners and independent technicians to repair, and how Right to Repair policies can improve access to the parts, tools, software, and technical information needed to maintain products. It also explored the particular relevance of repair to smaller and more geographically dispersed communities, including those in Prince Edward Island and Atlantic Canada, where access to authorized repair services can be limited and the costs and delays associated with sending equipment elsewhere for service can be significant.
