Anthony Rosborough delivered a keynote at the Canadian Association of Law Libraries annual conference in Moncton

Anthony Rosborough gave a keynote presentation to the Canadian Association of Law Libraries / Association canadienne des bibliothèques de droit (CALL/ACBD) Annual Conference, held in Moncton.

The keynote explored the Right to Repair through the lens of information justice. His argument was that access to information should be understood as extending beyond access to conventional texts and data. Repair depends upon access to manuals, diagnostic tools, software, replacement parts, technical skills and hands-on or tacit knowledge. Restrictions on the ability to diagnose, understand and repair technologies can therefore also be understood as restrictions on access to information and knowledge. The talk connected these issues to the work of librarians and legal-information professionals and considered what the repair movement can contribute to a broader conception of information access.

CALL/ACBD reported that more than 160 people attended the 2026 conference overall.
