The 2026 Canadian Repair Convention was held at Dalhousie University

Anthony Rosborough co-organised and chaired portions of the 2026 Canadian Repair Convention, held at Dalhousie’s Weldon Law Building in Halifax. The two-day national event brought together researchers, policymakers, community repair organizations, industry representatives, students and other stakeholders to discuss the future of Right to Repair policy in Canada. Topics included sustainability, consumer rights, competition, community repair, software, e-waste, public procurement, critical infrastructure and national resilience.

The Convention was supported by a SSHRC Connection Grant, with additional support from Dalhousie’s Law & Technology Institute and MacEachen Institute for Public Policy & Governance. The annual report records Rosborough’s role as conference organizer and panel chair. There were over 80 people in attendnace.
