Oladapo Oyebode’s student’s research paper won the Best Runner Up Award at PERSUASIVE 2026

Oladapo Oyebode’s group’s research paper won the Best Runner Up Award at the International Conference on Persuasive Technology (PERSUASIVE 2026) held in Hakodate, Japan, in March 2026. The paper, “HyperCare: An AI-driven, Personalized, and Adaptive Persuasive Technology for Continuous Hypertension Prevention and Management”, was led by his PhD student Josteve Adekanbi. The conference welcomed 127 academics, researchers, students and industry professionals from 18 countries.
