Workshop on Multi-Objective Optimization and Planning in Robotics at RSS 2025
At RSS 2025, A2I2 member Nils Wilde co-organized a full-day workshop on Multi-Objective Optimization and Planning in Robotics. Held at the premier single-track conference in the field, the event brought together leading researchers and practitioners to explore how modern optimization and planning techniques can better handle the many competing objectives that real-world robots must satisfy.
With invited talks from high-caliber experts, featured workshop papers, two open problem sessions, and interactive panels, the workshop helped strengthen the community working on multi-objective optimization and related problems in robotics. The discussions and open problems highlighted this foundational topic as widely relevant across application domains, helping to build new collaborations and spotlight open challenges for the years ahead.
