In 2025, the MooAnalytica Research Group, led by Dr. Suresh Neethirajan at Dalhousie University, released four artificial intelligence–powered mobile applications that make advanced livestock analytics freely accessible worldwide. DairyAir Canada uses satellite remote sensing and artificial intelligence to benchmark methane emissions across more than 1,300 Canadian dairy farms, supporting climate-smart decision-making and greenhouse gas awareness. MooLogue applies bioacoustics and machine learning to interpret dairy cow vocalizations, helping users better understand animal behaviour, welfare, maternal communication, estrus, and stress. CluckTalk introduces AI-driven poultry bioacoustics, enabling users to explore chicken vocalizations and communication through interactive educational tools. Cluckify combines computer vision and artificial intelligence to support poultry behaviour monitoring and welfare assessment using image- and video-based analytics. Collectively, the four applications represent one of the first integrated mobile AI ecosystems for digital livestock farming. Available free of charge on both the Apple App Store and Google Play, they have reached users in more than 50 countries with over 15,000 downloads, demonstrating how academic research can be translated into practical, globally accessible tools that advance animal welfare, sustainability, climate-smart agriculture, and digital innovation.
