{"id":54,"date":"2021-02-14T04:43:29","date_gmt":"2021-02-14T04:43:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/projects.cs.dal.ca\/cccg2021\/wordpress\/?page_id=54"},"modified":"2021-07-04T20:22:10","modified_gmt":"2021-07-04T23:22:10","slug":"welcome","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/projects.cs.dal.ca\/cccg2021\/","title":{"rendered":"Welcome"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/cccg.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Canadian Conference on Computational Geometry<\/a> (CCCG) is a forum to disseminate and discuss new theoretical and applied results in discrete and computational geometry. CCCG focuses on the design of efficient algorithms, the development of software, and the study of the mathematical foundations of computational problems whose formulations involve geometric constraints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The field of computational geometry is motivated by problems from a broad range of application areas, as diverse as computer graphics and animation, computer vision, computer-aided design and manufacturing, geographic information systems, pattern recognition, wireless communications, robotics, protein folding, urban planning, graph drawing, or statistical analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Authors are invited to submit papers describing original research of theoretical or practical significance in computational, combinatorial and discrete geometry, as well as related areas. Submissions will be refereed by the Program Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CCCG supports <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/safetoc.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">SafeToC<\/a>. The ToC advocate for CCCG is Timothy Wylie. See the <a href=\"https:\/\/projects.cs.dal.ca\/cccg2021\/code-of-conduct\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"65\">Code of Conduct<\/a> page for further details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CCCG 2021 is planned for August 10-12, 2021. The conference will <s>either<\/s> be fully online<s>, or, if the COVID-19 situation allows, also include an in-person component, which will be held at <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dal.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dalhousie University<\/a>, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
