One can search for a member by filling out any of the following fields: last name, first name, position, state (U.S.), country, member organization, institution, institution city, institution state/province and institution country. Member organization is selected by using check box. Position, state, country, institution state/province and institution country fields use the drop-down menu. Institution state/province lists US states as well as Canadian provinces.
When the result is returned, it lists the address of the institution where the member works in addition to name. As well, it lists home and office phone numbers, fax number, email address, homepage url, organizations the member belongs to, and the member's specialties.
Membership page (with a link to Combined Membership List (CML))
Language: English
One can search by entering a keyword and specifying whether the keyword is a name, employer/university, interests, city, or country. Radio button is set to name by default.
It returns similar results as the ones returned by CML, except that it does not return member organization for obvious reason. As well, it lists only one phone number and does not specify whether it is an office phone number or a home phone number.
Membership page (Math-net)
Language: English
This site gives the user a choice of doing standard or advanced search. Both search options have three fields: name, field of interest, and keywords. In standard search, only the name field is mandatory, whereas advanced search options seems to require that one fill out all three fields. The only other difference between the two search options is that the standard search searches through multiple databases, whereas the advanced search only looks at the metadata.
Metadata returns a member's name, email address, address, phone number, fax number, research interest, position/task, and a link to a website.

Membership page (French) Search Engine
The English and French search engines are identical. One can either search in a person's directory or an institution's directory. There is a radio button to select which directory to be searched. If one is searching through a person's directory, one must enter the given name and then the surname. If one is searching through the institution's directory, one must enter the name of the institution, and the city or country.

There is no field to enter the name of a member. In order to search, one must select the appropriate response from a series of fields. Either one must specify all fields, or the directory may not be linked to the database. So far, it has not been possible to return a member yet.
